<h3>Recommendations</h3> <ul class="list-style-cus"> <li>Check the haircut, uniform and punctuality of your ward in the morning.</li> <li>It is always advisable to write to school about the problems of your ward or for seeking guidance.</li> <li>Letters will be replied to ,after discussion with concerned teacher.</li> <li>In case of parents wanting a discussion with more than one teacher, a meeting will be arranged with the concerned teachers.</li> <li>Check your ward's almanac daily. Do acknowledge the remarks if any, and take necessary action.</li> <li>Check that your ward carries his/her books/exercise books according to the time table for the day. No extra books should be carried to school.</li> <li>Ensure that your ward is prepared for the unit tests, and monitor his/her progress through the Report Card.</li> <li>Encourage your ward to take keen interest in studies, co-curricular activities and sports for a holistic growth.</li> <li>Restrict daily pocket money. Excessive spending should be discouraged.</li> <li>Children should not bring crackers, colours etc. to the school .Bursting of crackers and playing with colours is liable to lead to expulsion of a student from the school.</li> <li>Your ward should be instructed to be careful about his/her belongings. There should be a name tag on Blazers and sweaters. Expensive articles like transistors, calculators etc should not be brought to the School.</li> <li>Students are also not allowed to wear jewellery to school. In case of violation of this rule the item found will be confiscated. The school bears no responsibility for articles lost in the school.</li> <li>If your ward is absent from the school he/she must make up for all the pending work.</li> <li>A half day leave should be avoided as far as possible for security reasons. In case of an emergency ,written permission must be taken from the Principal.</li> <li>If your ward has been absent from the school, check the rules regarding absence.</li> <li>In case of sickness, students should not be sent to school to attend classes, Wednesday tests or exams. This is for strict compliance</li> <li>Parents are requested to inform the school in writing if there is any change in their address or contact Number.</li> <li>This is extremely important as information is sent through bulk sms from time to time.</li> <li>The school has a very interactive and active portal. Please visit it regularly to keep in touch with the teachers.</li> </ul> <div class="headline-page"><h3>School Rules</h3></div> <ul class="list-style-cus"> <li>Students must carry their Almanac to school everyday. It must bear their photograph with complete identification information signed by their parents.</li> <li>Students should be neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn on all working days.</li> <li>Boys should get their hair cut at regular intervals.</li> <li>Girls should plait their hair if it is below their shoulders. Short hair should be neatly cut and pinned.</li> <li>Students are expected to respect the property of others. This includes respect for school property. No students should damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on the walls, furniture or in any way damage things that belong to others. Damage done, even by accident, should be reported at once to the class teacher or to the Principal. Any damage done will be made good by the one who causes it.</li> <li>The school is not responsible for goods lost. It is advisable not to bring valuable articles (like expensive watches, pens, or other items) to school.</li> <li>Students are not allowed to wear any jewellery to school (e.g. Chains, rings, bangles, bracelets etc). Girls may wear only one pair of small ear rings or studs.</li> <li>Students coming to the school accompanied by servants should leave the premises only after their servants have arrived. In case of delay, they should report to the school office. Those who commute on their own should promptly return home after school.</li> <li>Students should be polite wherever they go. They should always remember that they are the ambassadors of the school and would be judged by their conduct. They should greet their teachers when they meet them. Bulling and use of foul language are punishable offences.</li> <li>The school reserves the right to suspend or take strict disciplinary action against a student whose diligence or progress in studies is constantly unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students.</li> </ul> <div class="headline-page"><h3>General Rules </h3></div> <ul class="list-style-cus"> <li>Parents must not enter the classroom to see their wards or teachers during class hours. They can only meet the teachers on PTA days or during school recess.</li> <li>Parents are requested to co operate with the school in helping their children to progress. They should check the bags of their children for any circular, notice or invitation that may have been issued by the school.</li> <li>Parents are requested to inform the school in case of any change in their address or telephone numbers.</li> <li>In case of sickness students should not be sent to school.</li> <li>In case of any specific medical problem, the parents must inform the school authority prior to the session.</li> <li>Any communication by the parents should be addressed to the Principal.</li> </ul> <div class="headline-page"><h3>Rules for Absenteeism</h3></div> <ul class="list-style-cus"> <li>Students who have been sick should bring a medical certificate from their doctor on joining school.</li> <li>Parents should fill up the "Record of non-Attendance" for each day the student is absent from school stating the reason for absence.</li> <li>A student who has been absent on the previous day will not be admitted to the class without a letter from the parent addressed to the class teacher, stating the reason for the absence.</li> <li>Outstation leave should be approved of, prior to proceeding on leave.</li> <li>In case of emergency, parents will be informed and they will have to report to the Principal. Parents are not allowed to go directly to the classes.</li> </ul> <div class="headline-page"><h3>Late Arrival in School</h3></div> <ul class="list-style-cus"> <li>The School gate will close at 7:30 a.m. in summers and at 9:30 a.m. in winters.</li> <li>All late arrivals (if they arrive after the gate has been closed) will have to be accompanied by the parents.</li> <li>Three late arrivals would lead to the student being sent back home.</li> </ul> <div class="headline-page"><h3>Bus Rules</h3></div> <ul class="list-style-cus"> <li>Students using the school bus are expected to be on the right side of the Bus Stop at least five minutes before the arrival time of the bus.</li> <li>Buses will not wait for the latecomers. No student will come near the door of the bus until it has come to a complete halt</li> <li>Students must be seated immediately after boarding the bus.</li> <li>While the bus is moving, a student must not move around in the bus and no part of his body should be outside the bus.</li> <li>Unruly behaviours like shrieking and shouting is strictly prohibited. Courteous behaviours is expected at all times.</li> <li>Students will be held responsible for any damage to buses caused by their negligence or misbehavior.</li> <li>The driver's attention must not be distracted unless it is an emergency. Students must follow the instructions of the attendant.</li> <li>Students should not throw and litter/peels, wrapper etc. out of the bus.</li> <li>Use of abusive language is strictly prohibited at all times. If found/noticed by the teachers/drivers/conductors, bus facility will not be provided to them for a week's period.</li> <li>Parents are NOT permitted to stop the buses on route even if their ward has missed the bus.</li> <li>Any-problem related to buses/bus routes etc. should be brought to the notice of the Transport Manager.</li> <li>Parents are advised NOT to get into discussions or arguments with conductors & drivers.</li> </ul>
